Buffalo C. Wayne "Starmaker"
Buffalo Wayne, known as the European Texan released a promising album called STARMAKER, certainly a very professional sound, self penned “Outlaw” material, well made and very innovating : “A texan Night Out”, “Life’s Busted” and “Starmaker” all became number ones on the RTL-Radio charts, some of them even find attention on US-country radio and seem to slowly open doors in the Nashville music industry. The only way I can explain his sound is to say it is in a similar vein to Hank Williams Jr. at his best. “Country Music City USA” tells a good story about a guy who swops his italian shoes for cowboy boots, goes back to Tennessee, sings, plays banjo, becomes a star, then loses everything because of the bottle.”Starmaker” is a very good song about a girl who makes it as a star because of a man called Starmaker, but the warning is there that he can make or break her. Definitely my kinda album. J. Mackie
